On two Friday nights before Christmas, representative players, from our senior and under-8s squads will be invited to play in teams with and against each other. This high-energy, competitive environment gives our top men and women players a chance to showcase their skills, while also allowing everyone to enjoy the games in a fun and social setting.
After the matches, all are welcome to join in and enjoy the host club’s hospitality.
Contradicting an previous advert for the Friday Night Showdown this event now has become the Thursday Night Showdown, still at the Belfast Bowling Club.

The Thursday Showdown coincides with Belfast’s famous Thursday Club Meal Night. If you plan to have a meal during the evening, please contact Greg Clapp on 027 550 0032 before Tuesday, 18 November. There will be some spare meals, but the catering team would like to know approximately how many extra meals they need to prepare.
After the games, everyone is welcome to stay and enjoy the club’s hospitality!
What is interesting though is that several of our bowlers are participating in this event.
